This afghan is knitted with a seed stitch border around the top, bottom, and sides of the blanket. The center panel of the blanket is divided into 5 areas that alternate between St st and beautiful lace flowers. The finished afghan is a great size for a baby or as an adult lapghan! Instructions are provided in both charted and written form.
770 yards (705 meters) of worsted weight yarn
Samples are out of Berroco Vintage (217 yards/198 meters; 52% acrylic, 40% wool, 8% nylon) and Knit Picks Swish Worsted (110 yards/101 meters; 100% superwash merino)
4 sts / 6.5 rows over St st = 1 inch
US 9 (5.5mm) 29" or 32" circular or size needed to get gauge
6 stitch marker
28.75"W x 33.5"H (fully blocked, size may vary depending on how much you block out the lace.)
