This shawl features a beautiful wavy stitch and is knitted from the top border down. The sides are set off with garter stitch and the two triangles that compose the shawl are divided down the center with one stitch set off by surrounding eyelets. Instructions are provided in both charted and written form!

Materials

375 yards (343 meters) of fingering weight yarn or
450 yards (412 meters) of worsted weight yarn
Variegated lightweight samples is knitted out of Prism Saki (440 yards/402 meters; 75% merino, 25% nylon)
Heavyweight sample is knitted out of Dream in Color Classy (250 yards/229 meters; 100% superwash merino)


Gauge

Fingering weight: 4.5 sts / 5.75 rows over St st = 1 inch
Worsted weight: 3.5 sts / 5 rows over St st = 1 inch


Needles

Fingering weight: US 8 (5mm) 32" circular or size needed to get gauge
Worsted weight: US 10.5 (6.5mm) 32" circular or size needed to get gauge Pointed tip needles will assist on the lace techniques.
