The Brownie Knits 2015 Block Blanket is made up of 12 individual blocks. The pattern was originally released as part of a year long knit-along. Each block features a garter stitch border around the block and the center of the block features a unique pattern. The blocks are then seamed together after all 12 blocks have been knitted. This is a fantastic pattern to learn and practice all sorts of knitting skills. From textured blocks to lace and cables, this block blanket has it all and there are demonstration video links provided in the pattern, as well. Want a bigger blanket? Make two or three of each block.
